The story so far

As a relatively late entry to the handset market, Google Pixel enlisted us with the task of creating buzz and cultural relevance around their latest devices. As such, we identified football as a platform where Pixel could play a genuine role while showcasing its unique camera features. We supported Pixel with negotiating long-term partnerships with the FA, Arsenal & Liverpool, with a focus around demonstrating how Pixel brings fans closer to the action.

Culturally Connected

We worked with Liverpool FC to capture incredible ‘Shot on Pixel’ pitch-side content to fans, including Virgil van Dijk’s Carabao Cup goal celebration and taking fans inside the post-match huddle of the Women’s team.

To champion women’s football, Pixel FC was launched – a first-of-its-kind collective of women’s football creators and broadcasters. Empowered by Pixel’s tools, the collective delivered groundbreaking coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup as well as Arsenal and Liverpool women’s teams.

We also supported with concepting and delivery of a standout TV ad showcasing Pixel’s Best Take feature, enlisting star England players Marcus Rashford, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.

Google Pixel’s partnerships drove exceptional results – boosting awareness, increasing consideration among football fans, and making Pixel the most recognized non-shirt sponsor for Arsenal F.C. The work across year 1 of their partnerships has cemented Pixel’s place in the football community.
