A 360 plan to help Vodafone activate their sponsorship of the 2021 British & Irish Lions Tour, to include a world-first activation which combined Vodafone’s 5G ultra-low latency capabilities with state-of-the-art motion control technology to create: The 8,000 Mile Auto5Graph.
Challenge
Use Vodafone technology to enable fans to connect with the Tour despite it being played behind closed doors and, of course, in another country.
Solution
A world first remote jersey signing, surprising four Lions superfans with the opportunity to receive their very own robotically signed Lions jersey – the player’s true autograph signed live from 8000 miles away.
Outcome
98% brand attribution and 42% VTR (vs 15% brand average).
Key Highlights
Fuse orchestrated six separate shoots around the country to underpin their technical prowess and brand positioning of ‘Together We Can’. This culminated in an appearance slot of 8 minutes for each Lion from South Africa!
